Teams to serve with
One of the best ways to feel part of a community is to get stuck in and serve! We have a whole range of teams that you could join and have loads of fun along the way. Below are some of the teams we have opportunities to get involved with. To register your interest or to find out more about a team, please complete this form: TEAMS
Alpha
We’ve seen countless lives transformed by Jesus through Alpha and we need team to be able to offer those opportunities. Would you be up for helping set up a room, wash up or help pack down? We would love to hear from you!
Beacon Cafe
The Beacon Cafe serves our local community by offering a warm welcome and great food and drinks! Over 60 volunteers help in this ministry each week with roles ranging from barista, food prep, washing up, serving and clearing tables and working the till. Whether you can offer an hour a week or a full morning or afternoon, do get in touch to find out more.
Duffers
We are blessed to have an amazing team of people who meet on Fridays for coffee and then put their incredible skills to good use in all sorts of maintenance activities and projects around the site - and for special events. If you have time you can offer, please get in touch.
Refreshments Team
Do you love hospitality? We do! We welcome people to our services with free hot drinks. This team arrives earlier to set up and prepare refreshments, and ready to be friendly and welcoming as people arrive.
Welcome Team
We love to welcome people! Every Sunday there are hundreds of people coming through our doors. We want friendly people who can help for 30 minutes before and after services to welcome and steward people.
Prayer Ministry
For those who enjoy providing prayer support, we offer Prayer Ministry training and the opportunity to join a team which offers prayer after services and occasionally invited to help at other meetings and events.
Children’s Team
Together, we learn what it means to come as little children, embracing wonder and joy as we grow in faith. If you’re passionate about helping Kids come alive as they encounter Jesus, join the team today! We have groups that run on Tuesdays (mornings and afternoons) and Sundays for all ages. Get in touch to find out more.
Youth Team
We believe that God wants to meet with every young person in new and powerful ways that will change them, their friends, their families, their schools, and beyond. If you're committed to seeing young people come alive in their faith, get in touch today! There are opportunities to get involved on Sunday mornings or Tuesday evenings.
Open Doors
We are looking for people to join the team who would be able to set up / pack down tables and chairs before and after Open Doors sessions on Monday mornings. However frequently you are able to commit, we would be glad to have your help.
